- What are Permissions?
- Permissions allow you to grant access to a secure deal.
When you choose to protect the privacy of your deal by either requiring an NDA or by requiring that Investors contact you, then Permissions is the Deal Funding Network application where you manually grant permission to Investors and can manage all of the existing permissions.
Permissions Are Relevant in Three Scenarios:
1. When an Investor signs an NDA, they are automatically given permission to access the deal.
2. When an Investor contacts you requesting access to a deal, you can grant them access by manually adding them to your "permitted" list.
3. When you use Promote to send a protected deal to an individual Investor, that Investor is automatically given permission to view the deal - the fact that you are “inviting” them to view the deal assumes you also grant them permission to view the deal.
