- How does Deal Funding Network help Developers/Sponsors and Accredited Investors ?
- Deal Funding Network ("DFN") is an international "match-making" platform that connects commercial real estate Developers/Sponsors seeking equity to Investors (including Financial Institutions - both large and small, Private Equity firms, Family Offices, High Net Worth individuals, Pension Funds, Sovereign Wealth Funds and other qualified financiers) seeking investment opportunities.
The DFN platform has been developed to primarily facilitate the equity portion of a commercial real estate transaction by helping Developers/Sponsors in the marketing of their deals to Accredited Investors who are members of DFN and who have expressed interest in particular types of deals in specified geographic regions.
When a Developer/Sponsor's project enter its deal into the DFN system (aka the DFN Exchange), our algorithm searches our database to match the deal with criteria previously specified by Investors - we call this a "SmartMatch" - Investors are notified via email when their criteria is met by a deal that's been added to the DFN Exchange and can then contact the Developer/Sponsor.
Developers/Sponsors can also utilize the DFN platform to market their deal to their existing contacts if they so choose.
In both cases, our platform tracks who viewed the deal and when in order to help the Developer/Sponsor understand the interest-level in their deal in real-time.
