Homer Hoyt Center for Land Economics & Real Estate

The Hoyt Group is a multifaceted nonprofit organization that was established in 1968 as the research arm of Real Estate and Land Use Planning Program of The American University School of Business Administration. At that time it was simply known as the Homer Hoyt Institute but as the professional practice of real estate as well as real estate being established as a field of academic study the Homer Hoyt Institute expanded to meet the growing demands of both professionals and academics by creating the Maury Seldin Advanced Studies Institute, the Hoyt Fellows, LLC, Hoyt Advisory Services and Hoyt Institute of Real Estate.
